Hubo un tiempo en que le daba mucha más importancia a mi identidad que a mi documentación, aunque raramente controlaba el paradero de ninguna de las dos. Siempre andaba buscando la primera y siempre andaba perdiendo la segunda. Y aunque me obsesionaba saber quién era yo, no poder demostrárselo a un guardia urbano apenas me parecía un pequeño contratiempo.

Lo perdía todo en todas partes, la cartera también. En ocasiones me la chorizaban por confiada, por morrearme con alguien en una discoteca o sobre la hierba de un parque y perder el mundo de vista. El mundo y mis pertenencias, claro. Otras veces, las más, yo misma la olvidaba en una cabina, en un banco del metro, en la mesa de un bar. Continuar leyendo ‘Identidades’

Metáforas

 

 

Sin garantía

El corazón es una metáfora que tiene la siniestra capacidad de convertirse en órgano. Uno entrega su corazón, lo pierde, habla con él en la mano (qué asco) o deja que se lo partan mucho antes que la cara, pero eso es porque normalmente no lo percibe como algo real.

Un corazón empieza a existir cuando se infarta o cuando nos sube la tensión o cuando nos dicen que tenemos el colesterol por las nubes. Sólo entonces le salen aurículas, ventrículos, aortas y otras ramificaciones sanguinolentas que a nadie se le ocurriría rellenar de bombones. Continuar leyendo ‘Metáforas’
